well here's why Harry DIDN'T DIE: J.K. Rowling wants a positive theme in her book. There's billions of kids reading and even though I agree that tragedy is always the better ending this is not what kids should be learning when they're young. They need to be taught the good side of humanity without turning all emo when they grow up (and if they do go emo when they grow up that's cuz they want to not because we taught them to). This book IS about good overcoming evil so Harry lived and I think that's good for the kids.
You might argue this book is over liberal and its not sending a good message to the kids: well I'd rather have the kids learn about gay and death when they're still little than letting them grow up ignorant and be a rebel when they finally come to realization.
There's my ramble  , you guys have a nice day and will someone tell me wtf morello did

| still that last chapter was fan service and i hate fan service. It killed the story. And the only reason she didn't kill off potter was the fan repercussions she would have had to endure. I need to find that interview again because she said this. |

yea, I was disappointed when Harry didn't die. if harry died then it would make the story more artistic and whole. But like I said...the kiddos. The epilogue is a total turn off...ahh well she has her reasons. >.>
maybe society should appreciate some cheesy happily ever after stuff after all

its not that hard to kill someone and make them go down in glory. I read the snyopsis and i was reading some shit like "THen they found out that voldemort couldn't be killed without killing harry" And I called my friend and told me that he owed me 5 bucks....then I kept reading and it said that they did some stupid plot building shit that let them kill whatshisface without killing harry. Main point is: JK ROWLING SUCKS. So many plot builders and random useless shit for all the stupid fucking fanboys. Next person to insult a trekkie gets a black eye, courtesy of yours truly. I mean seriously, KILL SOMEONE For the love of god. Grow some balls.

That's funny. A shit book that sold 6.9 million copies in the US alone within the first 24 hrs. It must be quite the shit book then. If only other books could be as shitty.
